Is Rock on shaky ground?

In response to the Real Redskins post: http://realredskins.com/2009/02/is-rock-on-shaky-ground.html . I like the Dorsey signing. I like the way Cartwright plays but it seems to me a guy that is only a KR is a real luxury and I'm not sure Rock is good enough to justify it. I don't know how hard to replace he would be on kick coverage but it seem obvious that Zorn & company have no confidence in his skill as an RB. If Dorsey can average 25+ per return and get some plays on offense I would take him over Rock.

I think the Rock underappreciated,
It appears this lumbering player who no one iexpects to break away and score a TD does not perform in the Top of all Kick Returners
Per Stats on NFL.com
2008 average of 25.6 yds per return, is slightly behing Darren Sproles (26.0) and in the top-10 of all kick returners with over 30 returns. In 2007 he was in the Top-5 with 25.8.
A KR and PR specialist would be an added spark but not to replace a special teams Leader. Rock is safe next year...

I like the way that Rock takes the kick and goes north-south and gets a consistent 25 yards a return, my point was more towards the fact that 2 different coaching staffs have shown zero faith in him as a running back. If Dorsey can get 5-10 touches as a change of pace back and return punts too, that would seem to be a pretty big upgrade over what Rock gives the team. Of course all this is dependent on Dorsey being able to perform and stay on the field.
