Position Paper--Cornerback

As I posted in the free agent lineman discussion I also think it is a mistake to try to get stronger by making a position of strength weaker.

Rogers is good cover corner who is let down by his poor hands and the consequent lack of game changing 'impact' plays. If he could catch he would be Pro Bowl level corner. To me it makes much more sense to sign Hall AND extend Rogers and lock down the two starting corner positions for years ahead (subject to injury). Add in Landry and Horton at Safety and thats a very good and very young secondary.

I agree with Richs analysis but the rumors out there about trading him make me nervous.
